NO RESERVE!!! 1982 Honda CM 450E found in storage building at auction. Bike seems to be all there, tires look in good shape, hold air and don't seem to have any dry rot. Drum brakes work front and rear. All lights work. No rips or tears in seat, some parts have light surface rust but nothing serious. Has dent in right side gas tank but does not leak, no oil or gas leaks. I replaced plugs and oil and bike started right up. Will run but floods quickly. Needs carbs adjusted. Probably needs new battery and air filter, and gas cap is not opening with key but will come off to fill. Bike has 26,379 miles, electric start. Would make good bike with minimal TLC. Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
Team Mugen Returning to TT Zero with Shinden 2
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Noted Honda tuner Mugen announced it will compete in the 2013 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an updated version of its Shinden electric sportbike. Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.
