The ATC185 could be considered the first milestone in Honda's development of the ATC model line of off road vehicles. The ATC185 changed the face of three wheelers as we know them. A dramatic change from the stamped sheet metal frames of the 90s, 110s, and 125s, the 1980 ATC185 introduced for the first time a 185cc vertically up swept style engine surrounded by a full tube frame.
