This Bike Was Built By Steel Bent Customs This Spring Where It Was Stripped Down, Customized, Painted, And Rebuilt From The Ground Up Using An Old cb750 That Needed Restoration. Steel Bent Doesn't Rebuild These Engines However When Doing These Builds And Just "Gets Them Going" So The 1st Thing We Had To Do When We Got It Was Had The Entire Engine Removed And Rebuilt Then Painted Flat Black. Plus We Had The Carbs Rebuilt, Rejetted, And Synced. This Is Something To Consider If Considering A Purchase From Them. This Bike Doesn't Leak ANY Oil Now, Fires Right Up, And Runs Like A New Bike. This Bike Is Truly An Entirely New Build From Tip To Tail Now And She Runs Like A Bat Out Of Hell. Thu, 10 May 2012Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
