Honda Other description
The bike is located in Sachse Texas. Basically North Dallas. NO TITLE ...Bill Of Sale ONLY. I sold this bike several years ago to a collector. He recently asked if I would buy it back to help him out of a financial situation. The bike has not been started during the time he owned it. It just sat with several other bikes in his collection. I put a squirt of gas in the cylinder and it started for a few seconds. This is a very nice RED Honda Elsinore CR250. The bike had a cosmetic make over years ago. It is 35 years old and it is getting very hard to find them in good condition. I think I still have the original fenders and side panels. May even have the orig. perches and levers.. I have always loved these bikes. The bike has an insane power band and is very quick I do NOT recomend this bike for a beginner. Chrome looks good wheels look good. spokes are still shiney fork legs have very little rash.see pics Front and rear brakes work great. Cables work great and smooth. Fenders look very good and do not have any cracks. VMX Reproductions handle bars look great. The Body decals look good also. front end works great shocks work great Sprockets front and rear good. Honda To Build All-Green Test Track For E-Bikes And Cars
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Honda has been making motions about its intentions to enter the electric motorcycle market with the RC-E concept bike and the Mugen Shinden Ni electric race bike (pictured above). Those plans are further bolstered by the news Honda will be constructing a test track dedicated entirely to the development of electric motorcycles and cars. Building an entirely new test track requires a massive amount of resources, and Honda intends to make this project 100% self-sustainable by using 70,000 solar panels, spread out over 33 hectares, with the track and remaining facilities taking up another 25 hectares.
Own A Scale Model Of The Elf5, One Of The Most Unique Racing Motorcycles Ever
Tue, 01 Oct 2013If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today. Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.
Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans
Tue, 13 Sep 2022Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.
