Honda Other description
This is my CX500 I bought back in the spring. It is in excellent unrestored condition, and only has 7,445mis. There is 1 very small dent in the tank, on the left side, where another bike fell against it in storage (I was told) before I bought it. Everything works perfectly. The bike runs and rides as if new. It has new Dunlop tires. You can see in the images the good condition. Included is a Honda Shop Manual and an oil filter plus a spin-on filter adapter.I bought it because I always liked the CX bikes, with their liquid cooling and shaft drive. This is a nice riding motorcycle.I am selling because I don't ride much, and I would rather free up the money for other things, like food and shelter.I will consider credible offers. MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.

Sun, 22 May 2022Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?
