Honda Other description

1974 CR125m Elsinore that has been completely restored. This is not a “cosmetic” restoration. There is nothing untouched on the bike. Paint and finish, as well as mechanical work, is top of the line. It is stunning on display, and runs good also.Engine: rebuilt crankshaft and rod assembly, new piston and new rings. Bottom end assembled by Honda mechanic with ALL new bearings and seals( even idler shaft bearings). Transmission has all NOS shift forks and three NOS gears. Clutch is completely NOS (outer basket, all plates, springs, pressure plate) with the exception of the inner clutch hub. The cr125 and the mt125 pre-owned the same inner clutch hub in 1974. The inner hub pre-owned on this bike is from a mt125 with less than 400mis on it. Carburetor: rebuilt with a NOS needles and seat, NOS choke assembly, metering rod and pilot jet. Cylinder and head have flange nuts.Forks: No pitting on forks tubes. New fork seals, dust seals, and Belray fork oil Wheels: rims restored, re-anodized and re-laced with new spokes. New wheel bearings and seals. Brakes were cleaned and sanded. Tires are period correct nos matching Cheng Shins with new tubes..Frame and bodywork: powder coated frame. Bodywork was painted with Sherwin William’s best metallic silver and clear coat. Flex agent was added to the paint on the plastic parts. Clear coat over the green stripe on tank is flat clear. Side cover number backgrounds are painted(Expert Green matching the tank).Shocks – Completely restored to brand new look (painted with high heat aluminized paint. Yes, they were painted at the factory) with new seals, oil, and powder coated springs. Re-chromed kick starter, handle bars, and misc. Many parts regalvanized ( air filter cage, wheel spacers, nuts and bolts, etc.). Pipe is very nice. There is good deal of attention to detail in this bike. LOTS of NOS parts. I truly cannot recall all of the NOS parts on the bike. I would not be afraid to park it next to any other 1974 cr125m that I have seen. I don’t know what I have in it, and I don’t think I even want to know. It was not originally built to be sold.

The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

2014 WSBK Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
