Honda Other description

Up for sale a 1973 Honda SL 70 K1 Motosport.  This bike has been completely disassembled, including the engine and has been professionally rebuilt.  Frame, swing arm  and other assorted frame parts all have been powder coated with a silver metallic.  The body work has been painted the original candy yellow metallic.  As you can see in the pictures the engine was completely disassembled, ultra sound cleaned, vapor blasted and then repainted with the original Honda cloud silver.  The engine was also bored to the next oversize using all OEM Honda parts.  The cam chain and all the tensioners were also replaced along with the valves and valve springs.  Ever gasket, seal and o-ring has been replaced.  As far as the frame goes it has a new after market seat, new rear shocks, rebuilt front shocks, new wire harness and new ignition switch including all four keys. Tires, tubes and wheel bearing along with the brakes (front and rear) have all been replaced.  It is also sporting new chain and sprockets.   All the aluminum parts have been polished to a high gloss.  This bike is amazing to see in the sun light.  This bike does NOT have a title and it will be bill of sale only, and is ready to bring your past back alive!

Honda Opens Technical Center in India, Will Introduce New Models Every Quarter

Honda‘s subsidiary in India is opening a new technical center to develop new models for that market. The new research and development center is the first for Honda to focus only two-wheeled vehicles, and the first in all of India to feature an advanced wind tunnel to test vehicle aerodynamics. The goal, for Honda Motorcycle and  Scooter India (HMSI) is to eventually introduce a new model to India every quarter.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
