Frame Number Z50A-103113 Engine Number Z50A-103288 Folks, this baby has been dwelling in my basement for several years now and has only been hand-cranked a few times a month just to keep the cylinder lubricated. I never intended to sell this one but have relocated to East Tennessee and I don't have a place to store it thats climate controlled. It has to go, hopefully to a high end collector who will care for and appreciate this incredible piece of motorcycle history for what it is. This bike has a very early VIN number that has been verified to match the frame and engine. These slantguards are so rare and difficult to find especially in pristine condition like this one. Its an absolute little cream-puff that deserves to be in a museum, it will be 50 yeasr old in less than 2 years! I took these photos with my phone in flourescent lighting so they didn't come out as good as I had hoped. This bike does not come with a title but I will provide the new owner with a notarized Bill of Sale. Linefork Cycles is now located in East Tennessee... Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.
