Frame Number Z50A-103113 Engine Number Z50A-103288 Folks, this baby has been dwelling in my basement for several years now and has only been hand-cranked a few times a month just to keep the cylinder lubricated. I never intended to sell this one but have relocated to East Tennessee and I don't have a place to store it thats climate controlled. It has to go, hopefully to a high end collector who will care for and appreciate this incredible piece of motorcycle history for what it is. This bike has a very early VIN number that has been verified to match the frame and engine. These slantguards are so rare and difficult to find especially in pristine condition like this one. Its an absolute little cream-puff that deserves to be in a museum, it will be 50 yeasr old in less than 2 years! I took these photos with my phone in flourescent lighting so they didn't come out as good as I had hoped. This bike does not come with a title but I will provide the new owner with a notarized Bill of Sale. Linefork Cycles is now located in East Tennessee... Honda to Unveil Electric Sportbike Concept at Tokyo Motor Show
Thu, 10 Nov 2011Honda is set to unveil seven electric-powered concept vehicles at the upcoming 42nd Tokyo Motor Show, including a sportbike that has piqued our interest. According to Honda, the RC-E concept is a version of a sportbike that “pursues the joy of riding.” Honda says the RC-E will offer a powerful and smooth ride unique to an EV model and features a 250cc-class compact body. We’ll provide more details of the RC-E concept as they become available.
Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
