HERE IS WHAT I CAN TELL YOU ABOUT THIS BIKE IS THAT I HAD BOUGHT IT ALONG WITH 17 OTHER BIKES BACK IN 2009. I HELD ONTO THGIS BECAUSE IT WAS SO CLEAN AND RAN SO GOOD. I AM NOW SELLING IT OFF BECAUSE I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUING OUT 2- OTHER BUSINESS AND I AM RAISING CASH TO DO SO. THE BIKE OVERALL IS REALLY NICE FOR 30-YEARS OLD. THE ONLY THING I NOTICED TODAY WHEN I UNCOVERED IT AND TOOK IT OUT ON THE ROAD WAS THERE IS SOME SORT OF WHINNING NOISE WHEN I FIRST STRAT IT UP. IT GOES RIGHT AWAY BUT IT DOES MAKE ME SCRATCH MY HEAD.NO DENTS IN THE TANK ANBD ACTUALLY THE ONLT DENT I SEE ANYWHERE IS ON THGE FRONT FENDER.. IT DOES HAVE A NEW BATTERY AND STARTS AND DRIVES RIGHT UP. THESE ARE NOT SPEED DEMONS AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE SPEEDO. IT DOES GO A GOOD 75MPH WITH MY 236 LB BUTT ON IT.IF YOUY NEED ANYTHING ELSE ANSWERED ASK AND I WILL TRY AND HELP OUT. I WILL SHIP THIS AND MAYBE EVEN DELIVERY IT. I AM TRAVELING TO CHICAGO AND INDIANA IN ABOUT 2-3 WEEKS TO DELIVER A LOAD OF BIKES AND THEN PICK UP ANOTHER LOADF TO BRING BACK IN INDIAN. I AM SHIUPPING TO FRANCE NEXT MONTH ALSO. Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
Wed, 30 Nov 2011We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
2012 Honda CRF250L Announced for Europe But Not For America … Yet
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Honda announced it will introduce the new CRF250L to Europe this year. North American availability has not been confirmed, though it appears the new dual-sport, which shares a similar engine to the Honda CBR250R, may soon be announced for these shores. While there’s no official word on the Honda CRF250L in the U.S.,the liquid-cooled dual sport has already appeared in North America, appearing last weekend at the Montreal Motorcycle Show.
Honda to Unveil Electric Sportbike Concept at Tokyo Motor Show
Thu, 10 Nov 2011Honda is set to unveil seven electric-powered concept vehicles at the upcoming 42nd Tokyo Motor Show, including a sportbike that has piqued our interest. According to Honda, the RC-E concept is a version of a sportbike that “pursues the joy of riding.” Honda says the RC-E will offer a powerful and smooth ride unique to an EV model and features a 250cc-class compact body. We’ll provide more details of the RC-E concept as they become available.
