About us: HEINEN's started in 1899 by John Heinen (yes 116+ years ago!) as a farm implement store. Slowly turning to motorsports in the late 60's as a fun way to escape farming. There are no crutial changes, the manufacture's engineers, with the help of factory racers, were fine-tuning the motorcycle. As a result, the enduro CRF450RX, like the cross-country CRF450R, received a retuned electronic engine control unit, as well as recalibrated shock absorbers, which had a positive effect on enduro handling.

My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.

PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen

New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.
