Mid 70's Carabela Moto Pony 60cc Minicycle

On display in The New England Motorcycle Museum Today!

A BEAUTIFUL & rare vintage Carabela Moto Pony 60cc in RUNNING CONDITION!!!

Our trained professional mechanics here at Kaplan Cycles just took this Carabela in and completely cleaned it's fuel system out, and that was all it needed to get on the road!!!

Bike has had VERY little use, adult collector owner was 80+ years old, passed away and left a collection of 50 bikes to his family which sold them all to me!

Extremely low hours, and has the original tires with great tread remaining to show for it!

Very rare. Mid 70's Carabela Moto Pony 60cc. These were made in Mexico under license from Motori Minerelli and some parts interchange.

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

Honda Canada will introduce a new national racing series featuring the CBR250R for 2012. The news is no surprise as Honda has been running a CBR125R Challenge racing series as a support class for the Canadian Superbike Championship since 2008. With the CBR250R on the market for nearly a year (and reportedly doing quite well at that), a racing series featuring the quarter-liter sportbike was almost inevitable.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
