Honda Magna description

I am selling my 1999 Honda Magna Cruiser. I bought the bike this year in NC and it has just passed inspection and has fresh registration as of last month. The bike was garage kept for years and ridden very little- it only has 6800 miles on it and is in excellent condition. The only imperfection is a small spot of damage to the non-chrome engine housing from the previous owner. The title is clean, and as you can see the bike is beautiful in black and chrome.

These motorcycles are getting harder to find, particularly in black. These bikes are fast, and have a detuned VFR800 engine. It is a cruiser style bike with a V4 engine. Lots of power. The previous owner of this bike has pulled the baffles on the stock exhaust and possibly jetted the carbs (I'm not sure about the jets, but this is my second Magna (my first was a bone-stock 1995) and this bike feels more potent. These bikes are often called "muscle bikes" as bone-stock they make 87 HP and have a distinctive 4-4 slash-cut exhaust.

I put two new tires on this bike less than 3 months ago, and had a full service done. The battery is good, and like any Honda I have ever had, she always starts without a hitch.

I will throw in two black XL Zox half-helmets and a  (One of which has the quick-release buckle- I bought less than two weeks ago).

Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
