Honda Magna description

1985 Honda Magna VF1100, Beautiful custom build. 1100cc v4 6 speed that runs perfectly. This is what I've done: new cam oiler, rebuilt the front and rear brake calipers, the clutch and front and rear master cylinders, the clutch slave cylinder. The carbs were totally rebuilt and polished. New tires, plugs, battery, and all fluids. The fork seals and fluids replaced. This was a frame off restoration. The motor was repainted and engine covers chromed. The frame, swing arm, foot controls, and rims were powder coated. The headers and collector was ceramic coated. The tank and fenders received a fresh custom paint. The tail light assembly is a one of a kind fabrication. All turn signals and rail lights are upgraded LEDs and the bike has blue LED accent lights with key fob controller. Custom head light and gauge. Give me a call or text if you want a total original. 407 five nine two 64 three 3. $3700.00

2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
