WE HAVE HAD 100% FEEDBACK FOR 10 YEARS !!!   BID WITH CONFIDENCE & READ OUR FEEDBACK COMMENTS  !!!

I M P O R T A N T  - - -  - -The keywords which I selected seem to be important to draw the attention of a purist .
Also  to separate a high mileage repaint in below average condition from a quality cycle , which is why I used them .
This cycle seems to have the key requirements to become a top quality condition bike with attention to detail . It is a 34 year old cycle .  There is  some surface rust on a few bolt heads ,etc
The rubber has deteriorated and separated on the front signals [ I only repositioned them horizontally for photos.] It need a color matched touch up on the tank paint chip .
Some clear coat on casings could use attention .

INTERESTING  - AS ARTICLE SAYS , THERE WAS REALLY NO STANDARD , SPORTBIKE OR CRUISER DESIGNATION
IN THE BIG 4  LINEUP  WHEN THIS MODEL WAS RELEASED  !!!!

 - - -  NOW ON TO THE DESCRIPTION  - - -

HAS POTENTIAL FOR  MUSEUM QUALITY !!!   DEFINITELY NOW A RECOGNIZED COLLECTIBLE .  NO INDICATION OF EVER BEING DROPPED .  2003 ORIGINAL MILES !!!

INCREDIBLE , UNRESTORED  CONDITION  . COLLECTORS !!!  &  HONDA COLLECTORS - A MUST HAVE BIKE FOR YOUR DISPLAY  .

NOTHING CHANGED OR ALTERED .  BARN / GARAGE FIND . AMAZINGLY PRESERVED . LAST PLATED CALIFORNIA 1997

 NEARLY A COMPLETE  ORIGINAL

CURRENTLY HAS  MAG MOPUS ,  PERIOD CORRECT TIRES INCLUDING CORRECT ,  RAISED WHITE BOLD LETTERING .
THE TIRE DATE APPEARS TO BE  " THJ072 " ???
FOUND ADVERTISEMENT WITH DUNLOP QUALIFIER TIRES. UNSURE IF IT CAME WITH MAG MOPUS  TIRES FROM FACTORY   ?

NOTE THE WRITE UP ARTICLE IN MAGAZINE  " MOTORCYCLE CLASSICS  " - MAY/JUNE 2016 [ SEE MY PHOTOS ]
AND THE MANY DIFFERENCES OF THE FIRST YEAR MAGNA  .

THINK OF   HAVING  A  FIRST YEAR  , LOW MILEAGE ,  NEAR NEW , UNRESTORED 1953 CORVETTE , 67 CAMARO OR A 64 MUSTANG !!!

THIS IS A  750 CC NOT 700  [ AS WITH 1984 THRU 1987 ]  ,  THIS HAS  ROUND HEADLIGHT [ NOT SQUARE ] AND THE FACTORY REMOTE RESERVOIR SHOCKS
ARE FIRST YEAR  ARE THE PAINTED SIDE PANELS . OTHER DIFFERENCES ALSO ARE
CHROME HEADLIGHT  , CHROME INSTRUMENTS ,CHROME FENDERS ,  80 MPH SPEEDO.

NO  TABS BROKEN ON SIDE PANELS . ORIGINAL HONDA KEY . NO OWNERS MANUAL .  INSIDE TANK IS VERY CLEAN .

MOST WILL NOT RIDE THIS BIKE BUT WILL PUT IT IN COLLECTION  BUT IT DOES TURN OVER WELL AND ENGINE
SOUNDS MECHANICALLY GOOD AND NORMAL AS WOULD BE EXPECTED WITH THE MILEAGE AND ITS USE BEING THIS LOW.
OF COURSE IT WOULD NEED BATTERY AND  FULLY SERVICED TO RUN

MANUFACTURER DATE ON FRAME TAG IS 03/82

I PERSONALLY HAVE COMPLETED THE ITEMS BELOW .
I INSPECTED IT BEFORE PURCHASED  ,
PERFORMED ALL MECHANICAL WORK ,
WROTE THIS DESCRIPTION AND TOOK THE PHOTOGRAPHS .

Honda Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 31 Jan 2012

Honda reported a 41% decrease in net income over the third quarter, thanks primarily to the rising Japanese yen, continuing effects from the Japanese earthquake and floods in Thailand interrupting automobile production. Thanks to recovering auto sales and growing motorcycle sales in emerging markets, Honda reported a net profit of 47.6 billion yen (US$624 million) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011.

Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Piaggio launched its Vespa scooter brand at last January’s Indian Auto Expo to much fanfare but sales have fallen short of expectations. The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units. That might seem like a lot, and would be, for the U.S.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
