1986 Honda Interceptor (1986)
You are bidding on TWO (2) 1986 Honda Interceptors, both VF500F's: 1. Honda Interceptor #1 (Black Handlebars). Bought in 1999 from 2nd owner (I am the 3rd). This bike, although the rougher looking of the two, has always been reliable and has always started. Bike currently runs and starts, shifts well in all gears, no issues. 2. Honda Interceptor #2 (Red Handlebars). Bought this bike in 2008. Currently starts, but won't run for extended periods of time. After a few minutes this bike runs on 2-cylinders instead of all 4. Appears to be something simple/electrical, but I honestly don't have the time to troubleshoot it. 3. VIDEOS of #1 running: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bHS6JbYEb4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4AjWUbWjBQ 4. PLEASE see the last photo of spare parts (zoom in). Spare parts include: - Front Fairing - Front Fender - Fuel Tank - Decals, Stickers, Honda Logos - Electrical Connections, etc. ALL YOURS, worth several hundred $ by themselves!2016-06-26 04:46:02Kimball, Minnesota, United States172,800.00

Please DO NOT BID unless you understand this bike is being sold AS PARTS ONLY!!! You're looking at my 1986 VFR-500 Interceptor. THE STORY IS THIS: I took the bike in for it's annual oil change at the dealer, and after the technician (excellent, BTW) changed the oil and took it for a test ride, a seal on the lower left side of the motor blew out...and all the oil leaked out.2013-10-01 22:13:55New Suffolk, New York, US12,000356.00

1986 HONDA VFR 700 (1986)
I've had this cycle for a little over a month and put about 125 miles on it. My problem is that I never told my wife I was buying it, and because of a “disagreement,” I agreed to sell it if it hits the reserve price. This bike is in very good condition with relatively low miles (9,6XX). It does have some minor flaws (see pictures), but otherwise a beautiful bike. If you’re looking for a perfect bike, this isn't it, but you couldn't be disappointed with this one! If you have any questions or need any other photos or information, please don’t hesitate to ask. You can also call/text me at 920-410-1104. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer to arrange.2013-09-29 04:25:43Oshkosh, Wisconsin, US9,7002,550.00

VFR750F 1986 Honda Intercepter Perfect Condition, Rare, Collectable (1986)
You are buying my 1986 Honda VFR750F with 23000 miles. This is RARE. Honda only made 2000 gear drive 750's as there was a $1500 tariff on Japanese bikes over 700cc. They made the 750 so it could be raced at Daytona.2013-09-26 23:51:44Westminster, Maryland, US23,0004,995.00

Very nice great running/handling 500 Interceptor! I am no stranger to the Honda Interceptors having owned, built, modified and maintained all of the first generation V4 bikes and I still own this bike, a modified VF1000F Interceptor and a highly modified VF1000R. The 500 Interceptor was considered the best handling of the first generation Interceptors!2013-09-05 08:44:51Colorado Springs, Colorado, US24,9661,125.00

1986 Honda VFR 700 (1986)
1986 Honda VFR 700. This has some historical interest as it was Japan's answer to the US import tariff on motorcycles 750cc or larger to protect Harley Davidson. Although it is 700cc, this bike is fast and I suspect would hold its own with current bikes of similar displacement, if not smoke them.2013-09-03 06:52:35Colorado Springs, Colorado, US20,5721,500.00

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
