Honda Interceptor tech info
Honda Interceptor description
2002 HONDA VFR800 112 RWHP 69 FT.LBS. torque dyno
tested by AAMP Performance. I have a video of it on the dyno if you want to see
it. I'll list most of the mods, way more than
the bike is worth. I know you can't get that back so I am listing it at a fair
price. It has been reliable and very dependable. Just took it on a cross
country trip to Florida averaging 45MPG! I don't want to sell it, I told my son
I wanted to be buried with it! :-) Really I just won't be able to ride it ever
again due to my back... Older adult owned and babied only down once in 2011 on
one side but replaced beyond Honda specs, no frame damage just some cosmetics.
Some very light scuffs here and there but all fairings in great shape. |

Thu, 01 Oct 2009UPDATE: Read the full review of the 2010 Honda NT700V now on Motorcycle.com It should be obvious, but one of the perks of being in the business of evaluating motorcycles is the opportunity to see and ride a huge variety of bikes. Recently, while returning a CRF230M to American Honda’s main offices I spotted the new-to-the-U.S. NT700V sitting amongst the gaggle of bikes set aside for the moto media.

Mon, 27 Jan 2014Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
