Honda Interceptor description

Classic 5th Generation VFR 800FI Interceptor in very good condition. Brand new sprockets and chain, as are front and rear brake pads, spark plugs and air filter. All the fluids have been replaced (oil, brake and cooling). All have test miles only on them. Heli Bar risers and Vance Hines slip on. No electrical problems. This well maintained bike is clean and the body work is in very good condition, there are some very minor blemishes associated with the bike's age and one very small dent in the tank on the left hand side. Tinted windshield. Owners manual, rear seat cowl and passenger grips all present and correct. The bike has covered 34,475 miles and is rock steady. Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.

Sheepish Maverick Vinales Returns to Blusens, Issues Apology

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.
