Honda Interceptor description

Classic 5th Generation VFR 800FI Interceptor in very good condition. Brand new sprockets and chain, as are front and rear brake pads, spark plugs and air filter. All the fluids have been replaced (oil, brake and cooling). All have test miles only on them. Heli Bar risers and Vance Hines slip on. No electrical problems. This well maintained bike is clean and the body work is in very good condition, there are some very minor blemishes associated with the bike's age and one very small dent in the tank on the left hand side. Tinted windshield. Owners manual, rear seat cowl and passenger grips all present and correct. The bike has covered 34,475 miles and is rock steady. Honda sold 4.2 million motorcycles over its second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013. This marked the second consecutive quarter with motorcycle sales topping the four million mark, and a 10.8% increase on the 3.8 million units sold in the same quarter last year.

Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
