Honda Interceptor description

A 1997 VFR Honda that is in cherry condition.  Extras include

 - Heated Grips
 - Two Brothers Carbon Fiber muffler for the low end purr (and it does sound good!).
 - Givi racks
 - Givi hard side cases with locks
 - Givi top rack
 - Givi top case, large enough to easily fit a helmet.  It's big.

Clean Title, and well maintained.  I just got back from a multi-date trip where it performed flawlessly, but wife says, "Great, you only can have one bike." So, this one sadly needs to go.

Tires are at better than 75%.

The paint job is like new, but there are two spots with scratches consistent with it's age.

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

The Pata Honda racing team announced it has re-signed Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. It’s been a disappointing season for both rider, thanks in large part to injuries. Rea is currently on the shelf with a fractured femur sustained in a crash at Nurburgring while Haslam also missed several rounds earlier in the season because of a broken leg.

Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.

Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.
