Honda Gold Wing tech info
Honda Gold Wing description
I got the Honda in a trade from Scranton PA. my wife said she would go with me if a motorcycle was more comfortable than my Harley Sportster. She is afraid of motorcycles any way and only went once or twice with me. I have not registered it here in NY but the title is open. I took it up and down the road and it has very good power and idles nice . Would love to keep it but I have other bikes that I like better. I 'am not one for long trips and big touring bikes when going by my self on short trips to town..
This Honda has a lot of extra lights and chrome accessory on it. Have not found one on e-bay like it. Every thing seems to work but the clock but maybe I just don't know how to set it.
It also came with a small motorcycle trailer painted with the same colors as the Honda. I attached it to the motorcycle and all the lights work. In it were some extra parts, a few replacement lens, trim parts for the trailer, 2 new in the box timing belts, and several oil filters with o-rings.
When I got it home I drained the fuel and put in fresh fuel and changed the oil and filter and the spark plugs. That made it run real nice.
The only thing I see that it needs if I was to keep it are a front tire and maybe fork seals. Front tire has tread and no cracks but it's old. Rear tire is newer and in good shape. Just the things I would do if I was to keep it. Trailer tires look new with new rims.

This has been garage keep since 2009 I was told by the 2nd owner. I have it in a heated garage and the trailer sits outside until I make room for it. I guess thats why its in very nice condition. Any way I have always been a fair weather rider.

Also comes with 2 helmet communicators and have no idea how they hook up but they are there in a bag in the trailer. Goldwing is all new to me.

Report: Honda to Increase NC700 Engine Displacement
Tue, 02 Jul 2013British site Visordown reports Honda will release an updated version of its NC700 series with a larger engine for 2014. The larger versions will reportedly carry an extra 50cc, pushing its displacement to 720cc from the current 670cc used on the NC700X, NC700S and Integra scooter. But why would Honda introduce a larger engine so soon after introducing its NC line in the 2012 model year?

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams
Wed, 26 Sep 2012It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
