Honda Gold Wing description

Up for sale is a 1998 Honda Goldwing Trike. Here is the history of this beautiful machine.  This trike was custom built for Mrs. Lehman and is Canadian Built. I am the third  owner, she kept the trike in a garaged condition the entire time she owned it. It was sold to the second owner in 2001 at a Lehman trike show in Birmingham, AL to the second owner who in turn kept the trike in a garage the entire time he owned it and he also kept it in excellent maintained condition .I bought it 3 months ago, and soon after I bought it I was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer which is why I am selling it, believe me this is the last thing I want to do is sell my trike. Everything on this trike works right down to the CB. there is very little signs of wear. The bike runs like an atomic clock.

It has the following features, cruise control- reverse-am/fm radio-cassette deck-CB- On board intercom- new front tire- ring of fire light- 2 gold wing carry on bags-tool kit- easy steer 3 degree rake-luggage compartment travel bag-complete manual-matching helmets medium and small-complete maintenance log- recent tune up-tinted tall wind shield- floor boards- cover.

Picture do not really reflect the condition of this trike, dollar for dollar this is the best buy on e-bay bar none its a stunning machine and turns heads every time its ridden. Should you have any question please call 605-291-6227 Bill

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year.  The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.
