Honda Gold Wing description

2013 Honda Gold Wing F6B, Think of it as the Gold Wing???s bad-boy cousin. The all-new Honda Gold Wing F6B takes the superb six-cylinder engine and advanced chassis of the touring legend, then strips off the rear top box, chops down the windshield, and covers everything in midnight black to create a premium cruiser like nothing else on the road. Long, low, lean and mean, the F6B is built for the boulevard, and built to turn heads. Thanks to its touring-bike underpinnings, it hasn???t forgotten how to carry you long distances in ultimate comfort, too.

Intermot 2012: Honda CB1100 Enters European Market

Wed, 03 Oct 2012

As we expected, Honda announced it will bring its retro-styled CB1100 to Europe at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Previously only available in Japan and Australia, the CB1100 will be available in Europe for 2013, though there is still no sign it will ever be offered in North America. Though it sounds close in name to Honda‘s CB1000R, the two naked standards reflect two differing philosophies.

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.

The Shinden Ni (“Shinden” meaning “God of Electricity” while “Ni” is the number two in Japanese) will once again be ridden by 19-time TT winner John McGuinness. Mugen has been working on the Shinden Ni since last year’s TT Zero, using data collected in the race and during tests at circuits in Japan.
