Honda Gold Wing description

Twin girls and it has come to this!!!

Selling my 2012 Honda Goldwing GL 1800 with ABS, Nav and SiriusXM. Heated grips and seat.  Best touring bike out there.  Incredible ride.

Bike is in very good shape.  Regularly maintained, garaged and covered when not in use.  Has a small scape on right saddle bag (shown in pic) caused by walking the bike to a gas pump and getting a bit to close to the poll protectors (ouch!)  Also a ding under the left side exhaust from a accidental drop in the garage that landed on a tool box.  (My suggestion is do not wear flip-flops while bringing the bike in for the night.)  Outside of that bike is in excellent shape.

Bike has Nav unit, SiriusXM, iphone/pod/connectivity and USB port in main storage.

Just a great bike to tour around the country.  Slightly disappointed to get rid of it!

Any questions feel free to ask!

2012 Honda CBR1000RR First Ride

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

First some bad news: the new 2012 Honda CBR1000RR doesn’t come with traction control. The good news: It doesn’t matter. It’s still an absolute blast to ride.

NR750 owners should require approval

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Words can't express the absolute disbelief of this strangely attired guy trying to ride one of the rarest motorcycles every to grace tarmac. But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
