Honda Gold Wing description

After 52 years of riding, because of health reasons I'm forced to sell my 2010 Honda Goldwing. This was the last year the Goldwing was made in Maryville Ohio USA. I'm the original owner and I bought it new in July  of 2011, so its 5 years and 1 month old.  I have almost $30,000 in it with over $4500 in upgrades in it and I have the receipts to prove it.
This is a good reliable bike that is in very good shape. I wouldn't hesitate to take it cross country. Check out my feedback, i'm an honest person and the buyer will be getting a great bike at a very low price. The bike does not use any oil between 4,000 mile oil changes nor does it leak any oil. I kept records for all oil changes and maintenance.

It has NEVER been in an accident. Please read all the options and add-on's and look at all the many picture I have posted

If your in the Prescott area and want to see the bike, please let me know. If you want to see more pictures, please let me know.

2010 Goldwing XM/Nav/Comfort 60,109 Miles. I just changed the oil and I have records of all it's oil changes. I use only Mobil one synthetic.

The tires are in very good shape, I recently had an oversize rear tire put on which drops the RPM and acts like an overdrive.

   This GOLDWING has MANY extras.

This bike has all the normal Options and features including cruise control, reverse, pre load rear adjust system, adjustable windshield, windscreen vent, and lots of storage. It also has lots of options the standard Goldwing doesn't have, like, CB Radio, AM/FM radio and XM radio Awesome factory 400 watt Audio system with front and rear speakers. It also has a built-in MP3 player that works off the radio controls with many hundreds of songs, this takes the place of the CD changer and holds far more songs then the CD changer. I have it loaded with hundreds of oldies songs, but you can take the SD chip out and reload your type of music. The CB radio is an Option I had the dealer install. The MP3 player is an aftermarket option.

Factory built in GPS,  heated grips, Alarm system Cruise control, Reverse, Vented windshield, and a driver/passenger intercom. I WILL include 3 cables that connect to the bike that can be used  for the AM/FM radio, XM radio, MP3 player, CB AND  Intercom.

The tires are in very good condition, I just had a oversize rear tire put on that drops the RPM and acts like an overdrive.

I have the special Honda tool for changing the oil filter easy and I will also put this in the bike.

Aftermarket magnetic oil change plug, to keep fine metal pieces from circulating thru the engine.

I have most of  the original parts I took off the bike. It will also come with 2 complete rain suits and 1 extra pair of pants, 3 cables for helmets, battery tender.

It rides like a dream. The bike needs nothing and comes with everything that anyone would need and more. I have a clean clear title. I also have all the documentation of the Honda dealer working on the bike, all receipts of the aftermarket extras I bought and installed. I also have all the documentation for the oil and filter changes.

I have all the original books, Honda Owner's manual, CB user's guide, Navigation system guide, Honda's riding tips, and a large Clymer Honda Maintenance, troubshooting and repair manual. This manual also has a CD in the back. I will include all of these items to the buyer.

Please ask any questions or come take a look a look at the bike.

As you can see this bike has a lot of extra options not on the standard Goldwing.

You will be disappointed with this bike it is a Beauty.

Please check out the KBB price. The reserve price is way below the KBB price, and thats a bike without all the options I have on my bike. This bike has a lot of extras and options and I priced it below the other bikes on eBay so it will sell. Please don't bid if you don't expect to buy it. Thank you.

Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

Buying countless tatty bikes. And that Marquez fella

A South African friend of mine called Trevor Binder told me last weekend I’m quite obviously in the advanced stages of a terrible disease. He recognises the affliction because he admits to suffering from the same condition for many years and so far hasn’t found a cure.  He says he can’t stop collecting bikes and while I didn’t think I had a problem, last weekend he pointed out I should be careful as I’m starting to acquire bikes at an alarming rate. I wasn’t really worried about spending a modest amount of cash an old KTM 125 race bike, a 350 LC and a Fizzy over the past six months but Trevor says I’m on a slippery slope.  He says it always starts with bikes that have some sentimental value but then swiftly moves on to buying any old tat.  Trevor is a wealthy man with dozens of nice bikes in his collection but more recently has been on Gumtree bidding for £150 Solex front wheel drive step - thrus, and doesn’t know why.  Closer to home, James Whitham has recently confirmed he may also have these symptoms and is actively seeking therapy.  I’ll be monitoring the situation from now on but in the meantime if anyone hears of a reasonably priced Raleigh Wisp for sale please let me know.
