2002 Honda Gold Wing 1800, 2002 Honda Gold Wing for sale by original owner in very nice condition. Mechanic owned and maintained, this is a turn key bike with many worry free miles available. Only Honda line, Kuryakyn, and Show Chrome parts added for looks along with many other options. Helmets, jackets and gloves all go with the new owner. New taller series rear tire and new front tire just added, along with the Airhawk seat cushion. The Garmin GPS with XM and Escort Radar detector go with the bike as well. Iphone adapter allows you to listen to your music via the CD controls which totals up to 3 different music options. This is a "Clean", always garaged motorcycle and again, is in turn key condition. This is NOT a Fire sale, NOT a Divorce sale, and if you are a dealer, don't bother me. I don't need your help selling this bike. If you are a new rider or just want to see how a Gold Wing handles, I will only allow a demo ride after you present verifiable funds (cash or bank check) for the posted amount. I guess I could have said serious offers only, but I want to be clear up front. Please email for more info and thanks for your interest. $13,000.00 5623077415

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.

Honda to Introduce Larger “New Concept” Models for North America

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.
