Honda Gold Wing description

Up For Bid is my 2008 Honda goldwing non abs. We ordered this bike in 2008, we got to see the dealership uncrate it when it came in. This bike has the navigation system, has heated grips, heated seats & heated passenger backrest. Has cruise control & reverse. This bike has never been laid down or scratched. It has only been in the rain twice. The color is titanium the factory metal flake really sparkle's in the the sunlight. Before it left the dealership we added the driver hyway pegs, exhaust chrome turndowns & cb antenna, although it does not have the cb radio, I just like the looks of the dual antenna's on a big bike. Added a trailer hitch in 2012, but only pulled a new trailer home and never pulled it again, hitch was put on @ the dealership. Replaced the original battery 5-12-16  and changed oil & filter. I have only used Honda 10-w-40 & Honda oil filter's from the beginning and changed every 3,000 mi. This comes with 2 covers a full cover and a 1/2 cover also included are two helmets with speakers & microphones that are only 3 years old. This bike has only 38,348 miles on it, has always been stored in our heated garage, always kept clean at all times. I have been riding goldwings since 1982 I won't ride nothing else. This bike run's & ride's very nice. Due to other interest is the only reason for selling. If you have any questions please ask, if you want to call me you can @ 1-217-474-3875. Thanks for looking.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.

Honda CRF450R Gets Further Refined for 2014

Tue, 14 May 2013

The CRF250R received a significant update for 2014, including a new frame and dual-exhaust setup first introduced in the CRF450R  which itself received a substantial update year. The current-generation CRF450R may only be a year old, but that didn’t stop Honda from introducing a couple of refinements for 2014. For 2014, Honda had tweaked the engine, adding new intake and exhaust ports and a new dual-timing fuel injection setup.

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
