Honda Gold Wing description

THIS IS A VERY, VERY NICE TRIKE. The bike had some scratches on it when I bought it so it now has a brand new paint job. This is a VERY LOW MILES bike and runs and drives great. It has all the standard  Honda stuff like cruise control, electric reverse, AM-FM-Weather radio, drivers back rest, vented windshield, chrome mirrors, chrome nose fairing, chrome taillight trim, and trailer hitch. Has almost new tires front and rear, but the rear wheels have some curb rash on them.  (pictured) THIS BIKE HAS THE ROADSMITH TRIKE KIT which is one of the top of the line kits. It has a longer wheel base which makes it ride much better to me. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION so if you are high bidder you win, so ask your wife, husband, mom, dad, boyfriend, girlfriend, sister or brother BEFORE YOU BID. Any questions call WAYNE 7702317577 BEFORE YOU BID. -----NO RESERVE-----YOU BID YOU WIN!!!!!!!!! Bike is for sell local and auction may end without notice but if anyone has bid on it they will get first chance at it for the local price.  SOLD AS-IS   WHERE IS----- WAYNE 7702317577 9AM-9PM    (mileage will change due to riding trike)

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned  for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

First Look: Marotti Honda-engined trike

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

TAKE A HONDA VFR750 engine, a reverse trike chassis and some Batman-style aerodynamic bodywork and this is the result. Polish company Marotti have built this 100bhp prototype model using a 750cc Honda motorcycle engine. The company is now planning to frighten potential customers witless with a new 1.4 litre engine machine that will deliver a claimed power ratio of 397bhp/tonne.Oooh, yer bugger...

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
