Honda Gold Wing description

This is a fantastically running bike. This is an original owner bike which was ridding daily from 2002 to 2012 and since 2012 has been in storage.

Reason: Purchased a Victory Vision

Man this bike is fun to ride! I had a 2006 Goldwing I put 130k miles on... and I forgot how powerful and comfortable these bikes are...

Three months ago I pulled it out of storage and began getting it road worthy. This is what has been done:

  • Fuel was drained
  • Fuel injectors were cleaned
  • Tank flushed
  • Oil changed once, rode 100 miles and then changed again so as to flush the system
  • Vehicle Speed Sensor was replaced
  • New font brake pads installed
  • Rear Rotor was resurfaced & new brake pads installed
  • All Brake Lines were flushed and bleed
I've put 600 miles and 4 tanks of fuel through it, and it runs great!

This bike is now ready for its new owner.

Motorcycle Gymkhana: The Perfect Use For A Helmet-Mounted Swivel Camera – Video

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

We’ve posted motorcycle gymkhana videos before, but this takes the production value up just a notch with the camera mounted on a swivel on the rider’s helmet! In case you aren’t familiar with this form of motorcycle competition, the course is generally set in a large parking lot type setting and is marked with cones. But this isn’t your basic rider course.

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
