Honda Gold Wing description

For sale I have my personal cross country motorcycle. This bike has been meticulously maintained and absolutely is in very, very good condition. This is the Goldwing SE 25th anniversary edition. It has 170, 630 miles. In March of this year I rode this bike to Daytona Bike Week and in April a trip to Gatlinburg, TN. While in the Gatlinburg area I had brand new Metzeler tires put on both front and rear. These tire are very expensive and have less than 600 miles on them. Also on this bike are very custom, BLUE, full wrap LED's that you have to see to believe!!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions. It has hitch and lights that are brand new but bike has not pulled trailer to this point. Everything, including real cruise control, works! Also, I agree that if you purchase this bike, come to pick it up, and its not everything as described, you do not have to purchase it and deposit on Paypal will be fully refunded!!!

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.

Honda‘s subsidiary in India is opening a new technical center to develop new models for that market. The new research and development center is the first for Honda to focus only two-wheeled vehicles, and the first in all of India to feature an advanced wind tunnel to test vehicle aerodynamics. The goal, for Honda Motorcycle and  Scooter India (HMSI) is to eventually introduce a new model to India every quarter.
