Description
This 1998 Honda GoldWing Aspencade is in great condition. The bike has 47208 miles on it and the tires have a lot of tread still on them. This bike does not look it's age. The bike is mainly all stock except it has an upgraded vented windshield, custom grips and chrome covers on the tail lights. All the electronics on this bike are in proper working order and this includes the reverse gear. The paint is still in great shape with a lot of shine with no dents scratches or marks. The only blemish on this bike is a crack on the lower right fender (tried t show it in the photos). Other than that this bike is in great condition. The GoldWing is known as a very reliable touring bike. The bike can also be used for just getting around everyday.  Bike is completely road ready and is just looking for a new owner. Bike has gone thru a full service and maintenance inspection. Price is negotiable and outside financing can be offered. 

We charge no doc fees. The price that is negotiated will be the final price. Out of state buyers will be responsible to pay all taxes, title registration fees and plate fees in their home state (and shipping costs if applicable). The only cost to the custom added to the negotiated price is taxes, title registration and plate fees. We are so confident in our bikes that if you want to fly in and ride it back home, we will pick you up from the airport or pay for your cab fair to our shop.

If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Inspection fees if any are Buyers responsibility.
  7. Representations and Warranties made by seller: This vehicle is being sold "as is". Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. Extended warranty may be available, e-mail or phone at (586) 619-9780 for details.
  8. Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
  9. Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
  10. Shipping & Delivery:
    1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. A & J Performance Cycle will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
    2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by A & J Performance Cycle as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with A & J Performance Cycle.
    3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
  11. Finalizing your Purchase:
    1. A & J Performance Cycle will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.
    2. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with at A & J Performance Cycle by e-mail or phone
      (586) 619-9780 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
    3. In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller.
    4. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST  e-mail a copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.

Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans

Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.

Karel Abraham to Ride Honda Production Racer for 2014 MotoGP season

MotoGP team Cardion AB announced it plans to field rider Karel Abraham in the 2014 Championship on Honda‘s new RC213V-based production racer. Cardion AB becomes the second MotoGP team to select Honda’s production racer. The Gresini Racing team will also use the Honda machine, which is no surprise considering the team’s history with Honda prototypes.
