Honda Gold Wing description

My 1992 goldwing is a very dependable motorcycle. I ride it 70 miles round trip to work on 75 mph roads and through the city in Waco Texas. The only mechanical note is that if the bike is parked on the kick stand and not the center stand it will puff smoke on start up after sitting over night. This is normal for gl1500 i park it on the center stand and never any smoke. No smoke or knocks during operation.Shifts well.It never looses oil between changes. The bike has great power and good handling. It is the SE model and has reverse and all options offered in 1992 such as on board air compressor, cb/intercom,radio/tape player, air ride with push button control, cruise control. It has some cosmetic scratches or imperfections here and there but looks real good for a 21 year old bike. The front tire is new and the back will need replaced soon. This bike will provide you with many miles of fun and enjoyment. I have tried to show everything in the pictures and i will answer all questions and send more pictures if needed. This bike is in Hubbard Texas 30 miles north of Waco. I will require a $250 dollar paypal deposit upon winning bid and the balance in certified check or cash upon pickup within 7 days. unless we both agree otherwise. Sold with clear Texas title.

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.

Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Piaggio launched its Vespa scooter brand at last January’s Indian Auto Expo to much fanfare but sales have fallen short of expectations. The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units. That might seem like a lot, and would be, for the U.S.

2012 Honda VFR1200F Returns With Some New Features

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

When Honda first introduced the VFR1200F late in 2009, Editor Duke was an instant believer in the machine’s capabilities. It blurred the line between sportbike and tourer, and the addition of a true dual-clutch transmission that actually works was truly a surprise. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.
