Honda Gold Wing description

1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade 1200
This has been a good bike for me.
It is showing some age but still looks good.
Perfect bike to restore
The bike was at my mechanics shop for about 5 months(He was replacing the coils) he was back logged with work when I got the bike back I noticed it was running rough on acceleration around 2500 rpm.
I was told from sitting that it may need a carb rebuild.
When the bike was at his shop the taillight and trunk was cracked.
The running rough issue may be something simple

I have over $3000.00 into the bike And instead of rebuilding the carbs I think its time to sell her off.
I put a usb,aux sd radio amp and speakers in it.
Changed the oil, plugs, new front tire and just recently the coils.
I rebuilt the carbs back in 2012.

Great for beginner to restore or fix and drive as is.
I have the bike priced low for a quick sale
I just want to be up front about any issues
The bike is worth more in parts than what Im selling it for,
Please bring her back to life its a good bike
Any questions please email and I will answer as soon as I can

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
