Honda Gold Wing description

For Sale is my 1984 Honda Goldwing GL1200 due to my relocation.

The bike runs and drives regarding its age extremely well. In the last few months it received:

  • ·         New front Tire ( Bridgestone)

  • ·         New Battery

  • ·         New Spark Plugs

  • ·         New automotive fuel pump

  • ·         Carburetor cleanup

  • ·         Rebuilt rear Air shocks

  • ·         New timing belts

  • ·         All fluids have been changed recently (less than 2000miles)

  • ·         New comfortable seat

It had been completely rebuild to a naked touring bike, originally it was a Goldwing Interstate. During that rebuild the following new Parts were added:

  • ·         Front Headlight

  • ·         4 new Indicators

  • ·         Mirrors

  • ·         Rear Light

  • ·         Used front auxiliary lights were also added.

Mileage: 22,805 showing on a working odometer, I still drive it on a daily basis so the milage will increase slightly.

Paint: original paint, partially fading with wear marks. Review the pictures.

Sheet metal: Sheet metal is original and well fitting.

Chrome: Chrome has some minor marks that probably can be removed by polishing.

Tires and Rims:;

Rear Tire some wear and road worthy.

Front Tire Bridgestone  minimal wear and road worthy.

Mechanical:  Everything works as it should. The only issue is the Indicator Flasher which needs to be replaced due to the Change of the Indicators

TITLE:  Clean, clear, Texas Title and current registration.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
