Up for sale is a gorgeous garage kept 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100 Interstate motorcycle. The bike only has 39,805 miles...considering it is over 25 years old...that is extremely low mileage for a highway bike! I purchased this earlier this year for my husband's anniversary gift; however, it poses to be too much bike for a beginner (even a large 6'2" guy was scared to touch it). Rather than it sit in my garage, I would love to sell to someone that would thoroughly enjoy it. The bike was serviced in April and is in great condition. It is ready to ride and I have the title in hand waiting for the perfect buyer. We put a good deal into the bike to ensure it was mechanically pristine. MotoGP should return to Suzuka
Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

San Carlo Gresini To Field CRT Entry with Honda CBR1000RR Engine
Tue, 15 Nov 2011The San Carlo Gresini race team announced it will compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship as a Claiming Rules Team with a Honda CBR1000RR engine in an FTR prototype chassis. The move is a late, but unfortunately necessary change from the team’s original plan to run the factory-level Honda RC213V racebike. The late Marco Simoncelli was tabbed to ride the newest version of Honda’s MotoGP machine next season, but after his tragic death, Gresini had to find another option if it wanted to continue racing.
