Carbs and brakes gone through a few years ago, New timing belts, valve cover gaskets, fork seals, and tires. Polished valve covers and fork legs. Chrome is decent for most parts, there are some pitting on some pieces.
 Nice windshield with vents.
Factory cover and soft sided travel bags included. Factory tool kit also.
This is a very nice gold wing. Very few this nice left.
I have ridden it less than 50 miles since all this work was done. Selling to help[ finance land purchase.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.
