78 Honda Goldwing. I purchased this bike from the son of the original owner after his father passed away(paperwork to prove it). Included with purchase are the original headlight assembly and turn signals, tool kit, owners manual, shop manual, and cycle sound radio. Since I bought it I have had the following work done--new tires and battery, fork seals replaced, new o-rings in cooling system, carbs rebuilt, new brakes. Speakers are DWG waterproof with amp--plug in I-pod for tunes. All work was done locally by "The Shop" a place that specializes in VINTAGE bikes NOT named Harley. The "not perfect"--left side panel is cracked, seat has a few small tears, the travel trunk key assembly is missing, small scratch on left side bag, tach doesn't work. As it sits now this bike will be someones daily driver. With a little TLC it would be a great show piece. MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
Miguel Duhamel to Ride for Lightning-Barracuda at Le Mans FIM e-Power/TTXGP Race
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Miguel Duhamel is returning to action to race in the FIM e-Power International Championship for Lightning Motorcycles. The five-time Daytona 200 winner will ride the Lightning Barracuda electric motorcycle for the joint FIM and TTXGP race at Le Mans , and Motorcycle.com had a role in setting up the connection. The topic of a rider for Le Mans came up during the preparations for Associate Editor Troy Siahaan‘s exclusive test of the Lightning race bike last month.
