If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Isle of Man TT 2012: TT Zero Results – MotoCzysz Wins 100 mph Bounty

Third time’s a charm. 2010 and 2011 TT Zero winner MotoCzysz, with rider Michael Rutter, finally became the first to average a speed of 100 mph on the Isle of Man‘s 37.733 Mountain Course on an electric motorcycle, capturing the long-sought after 10,000 British pound (US$15,000) bounty. Wearing the #1 plate for winning last year’s TT Zero, Rutter completed the 2012 TT Zero with a time of 21:45.33 for an average speed of 104.056 mph on the new 2012 MotoCzysz E1PC.

EICMA 2011: Honda NC700S Breaks Cover

Honda unveiled a new mid-sized naked standard using the 670cc parallel Twin engine and second-generation dual-clutch transmission. The new Honda NC700S is powered by the same 670cc Twin engine as the Integra motorcycle/scooter crossover and the NC700X. Designed to be lightweight and fuel-efficient, Honda claims an output of 46.9 hp at 6250 rpm and 44.3 ft-lb.
