Honda CT description

I have a 1972 Honda trail 70. This little bike has 2080 miles on it. The bike runs great starts right up. It has spent a lot of time in the garage. It has surface rust here and there nothing serious. Tires are pretty old. The bike is almost all original I have the title and the owners manual. This would be a easy bike for restoration. It is a 4 speed automatic. Runs and shifts great ready to go camping or a great pit bike. Buyer responsible for ALL shipping and handling. I will meet transportation at the closest truck stop on exit 71  I-5 in WA. Good Luck I will answer any questions that I can. This is not a Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, 50, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, trail bike, dirt bike, pit bike CT, CL, SL, XR, XL, CR,

Honda VFR1200F launch: Even the toilet has ABS

Tue, 20 Oct 2009

Just touched down in Tokyo after a twelve-hour flight from Heathrow and, as a total Japan virgin, I can tell you it’s all as weird as you’d probably imagine. Check out my hotel room’s toilet with inbuilt electronic arse power washing facility. Going to check that bad boy out as soon as I’ve filed this copy.

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.

For all you gearheads out there, Honda has opened a new Motorcycle Technology Picturebook site, an easy to understand guide to Honda’s advanced motorcycle technologies.  You can find anything from the engine idling stop system to Honda’s new automatic transmission system for motorcycles or the HFT (Human-Friendly Transmission) pictured above. This site will be updated regularly, check it out now!
