AMA Supercross – 2012 Oakland Results

The 2012 AMA Supercross Championship race is getting tighter with a fourth race winner in as many rounds following James Stewart‘s victory in Oakland, Calif. The JGRMX Yamaha racer captured his first win of the 2012 season at Oakland’s O.co Coliseum. Stewart out-dueled longtime rival Chad Reed of TwoTwo Motorsports Honda for the win.

WSBK: 2012 Miller Results

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L

American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.
