Honda CT description

For sale is a 1974 Candy Riviera Blue K3 Honda CT70 CT 70 Mini Trail 70. This bike is sold with no title despite what the drop down menu made me select. The frame Vin is CT70-2320299 and the motor Vin is CT70E-2317341. The manufacture date of the frame is 1/74.  This bike does start within the first couple kicks and drives very nicely as it should. The bike is probably due for a "tune up kit" along with a good carburetor cleaning from sitting, age of the bike, and current mileage of 3,211. The bike overall is in decent condition with about 40 years worth of normal wear and tear. The chrome does have some pitting and rusting. The paint is original also with 40 years of wear and tear. The exhaust was poorly repaired by the previous owner. The exhaust still leaks and is louder than normal. The seat has been recovered and pan had been welded. The handlebars are free at the knobs and will still fold down. I have tried to explain the bike to the best of my ability and represent the bike the best if could with the photos I have provided. If i have missed anything please contact me before bidding/ making offers and etc. Feel free to contact me to look the bike over personally or to come see it run and drive. Please check out my other auctions of several other Honda CT70 mini trails. Buyer is responsible for setting up a shipping company. I will assist in anyway possible with no extra fees or charges. I reserve the right to end auctions early as i have these bikes listed for sale locally. Also feel free to contact me for an outright package deal.

NEW: Yoshimura ends cans for Honda CB1000R

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. The Yoshimura CB1000R Slip-On, including the supplied heat shield, is over 4kgs lighter than the OE item, the Carbon sleeve, even more so at just 4.65kg.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-480-5B50         Stainless Steel           2.61kg                       £712.711A0-480-5B80          Titanium                    2.45kg                        £770.181A0-480-5B80B         Titan Blue                 2.45kg                        £850.651A0-480-5B90          Carbon                      2.35kg                        £896.631A0-480-5B20          Metal Magic               2.61kg                        £793.17         Noise Output (decibels)Standard end can: 94dB    @ 5,000rpmYoshimura EEC Slip-On:  94.5dB @ 5,000rpm(with db-killer in place)

Traction control? Yawn...

My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
