Honda CT description
I wanted a "Fast" CT90. They don't exist so I built one.... I found the largest motor I could find, 190cc 4-Valve Daytona, and modified the frame to fit. I then knew that the stock brakes were not going to be adequate so I swapped a front end with a KLX140L. I wanted it to look nice so I powder coated the frame and swingarm pearl white. These bikes are very simple but I have rebuilt everything and didn't spare any expense. It is hard to admit but I've spent over $4,000 on this project, don't tell my wife... It is a really fun little bike but I don't ride it much, I've had it finished for over a year and have only put ~650miles on the engine and bike. I really enjoy the build and have done many old Honda projects. Off to the next one! I've shipped many bikes in the past and am happy to help secure shipping and freight. Buyer pays shipping costs. Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon
Fri, 20 Jan 2012If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
Like Father Like Son
Fri, 05 Oct 2012According to Honda's Australian YouTube channel the child riding the Honda CRF50F in this ad is following in his dad's footsteps, as he also rode a Funbike as a child. In the very same back yard that was used for the shoot. After seeing the film crew in action, the child's grandmother announced she had old Super8 footage from 30 years ago which was subsequently used for the opening scene.
Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?
Mon, 22 Aug 2011If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).
