Honda CT description
I wanted a "Fast" CT90. They don't exist so I built one.... I found the largest motor I could find, 190cc 4-Valve Daytona, and modified the frame to fit. I then knew that the stock brakes were not going to be adequate so I swapped a front end with a KLX140L. I wanted it to look nice so I powder coated the frame and swingarm pearl white. These bikes are very simple but I have rebuilt everything and didn't spare any expense. It is hard to admit but I've spent over $4,000 on this project, don't tell my wife... It is a really fun little bike but I don't ride it much, I've had it finished for over a year and have only put ~650miles on the engine and bike. I really enjoy the build and have done many old Honda projects. Off to the next one! I've shipped many bikes in the past and am happy to help secure shipping and freight. Buyer pays shipping costs. James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
2012 GSX-R1000 arrives at Visordown HQ
Wed, 23 May 2012You've probably seen the video of Simon Crafar smoking up the 2012 GSX-R1000 at Almeria. Impressive stuff. Suzuki are (correct me if I'm wrong) the last manufacturer of an inline four superbike not to offer it with some sort of electronic rider aids.
