Honda CT description

No reserve auction so first bid wins. $500.00 pay pal deposit with cash only remaining on pickup.
Clear New Jersey title in hand.

Bought to get around camp in upstate NY but they no longer allow bicycles or motorcycles in camp period. Kids are grown and no interest.

Bike has a new 88 kit in it and heavy duty shocks and springs.
 Completely restoration.
Bead blasted, primed, and painted with Honda Candy Gold.
Custom painted matching mirrors.

Bike runs really well and has plenty of power. Shifts great, idles well.
High low beam work as do the blinkers and horn. Brake light stays on just recently.  I do not know why.
Steering head was upgraded to roller bearing kit.
Has full engine guard and back rack.
Seat is excellent. No tool kit. New 12 volt battery and has a 12 volt system.
Was registered and on the road last summer.
Chrome Wheels, tires, and brakes all new.
Chrome fenders new. Chain and sprockets all new.
The only thing wrong with the bike is a slow oil drip from the shifter seal.
I do not know why or how to fix.
I just keep a cloth under the bike for that.
Oil was just changed again after break in.
If you do not like the bike when you come to pick it up I will refund your deposit. You may test ride it on my long driveway.
Of course once it leaves my home it is yours.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

It was a long time coming, but sidecar racer Conrad Harrison can add one accomplishment to his resume: Isle of Man TT winner. Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.

Pulling the pin ...

Mon, 15 Nov 2010

WARNING: Not for the squeamish. You're looking at surgeons removing a pin from Ten Kate Honda man Jonathan Rea's wrist. The World Superbike frontrunner underwent surgery after sustaining fractures during a fall in qualifying at Imola, which hampered the Irish racer's end of season performance.
