Honda CT description

For sale is a 1970 Sapphire Blue K0 Honda CT70 CT 70 Mini Trail 70. This bike is sold with no title despite what the drop down menu made me select. The frame Vin is CT70-221734 and the motor Vin is CT70E-221930. The manufacture date of the frame is 11/70. This bike does start within the first couple kicks and drives very nicely as it should. The bike is probably due for a "tune up kit" along with a good carburetor cleaning from sitting, age of the bike, and current unknown mileage as the speedometer and headlight bucket are missing. The drop down forced me to enter a number, again current mileage is unknown. The bike overall is in decent condition with about 40 years worth of normal wear and tear. The chrome does have some pitting and rusting. The paint is original also with 40 years of wear and tear. The exhaust is missing the header that bolts into the head but could be spliced together if you had the other part. The seat cover is original but as you can see torn to pieces and heavily taped up. The seat pan is also cracked. I have tried to explain the bike to the best of my ability and represent the bike the best if could with the photos I have provided. If i have missed anything please contact me before bidding/ making offers and etc. Feel free to contact me to look the bike over personally or to come see it run and drive. Please check out my other auctions of several other Honda CT70 mini trails. I reserve the right to end auctions early as i have these bikes listed for sale locally. Also feel free to contact me for an outright package deal.

Own A Scale Model Of The Elf5, One Of The Most Unique Racing Motorcycles Ever

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today.  Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.

Honda NM4 Vultus Concept Revealed

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Honda revealed a new concept model called the NM4 Vultus, a futuristic-looking 745cc motorcycle with a massive front fairing. Despite the fact it looks like a mockup made for a movie like the Kawasaki-based bike in the recent Robocop reboot, Honda says the NM4 is indeed planned for production. The NM4 was designed by a team of young engineers in their 20s and early 30s, and that’s demographic Honda wants to target with its new concept.
