I bought this bike from an older guy last summer. He said he put about 6-8 hours on it, but you would never know it as the bike looked BRAND new. He rode it around his backyard on nice days, he basically just broke it in. I rode it at the track for 3 practice days (3 hours). This bike has never been laid down. The OEM plastics still look brand new. The EVO suspension (set-up for 180lb. VET intermediate), seat, Cycra skid plate, hour meter, and wheels were from my other 450 (13 hours), so they show a little more wear than the rest of the bike. I pressure-wash, use Dawn dish soap, use compressed air to dry the bike, and WD-40 when I get home from the track. I change the engine/transmission oil (Honda products), air filter after each ride. I use a 50/50 blend of Sunuco race fuel and non-ethanol supreme unleaded. The bike shows very little wear other than some minor scratches on the tank from knee braces. I've added Rekluse EXP 3.0 auto-clutch, EBC 280mm front brake rotor, Cycra front disc cover, stainless steel front brake line, Ride Engineering top one-piece handlebar clamp, Works Connection rad braces, Zeta brake clevis, MSR brake snake, Dunlops MX31's. Up for auction is a 2013 Honda CRF450X dirt bike. I bought this bike brand new in June of 2013 & have only ridden 45 original actual miles on it & it is around 53 HP. I simply do not have time to ride right now & I have some bills that are more pressing. (Don't worry I'll get another one for sure when things get a little better!) It has numerous accessories on it including, a Ricochet aluminum skid plate, Motoseat seat cover, SKF mud scrapers, Works Connection rear master cylinder guard, Works Connection radiator braces, Acerbis handguards & front rotor guard, Scott grips & it has Amsoil in the engine for oil & Evans waterless coolant in the radiator. It is race ready!! This bike has NEVER been raced. I don't race--I play. I offer local pick up only & I have a IMS long range gas tank to fit it. We can deal for that when the successful bidder comes to pick the bike up. I think it is around 5 gal capacity where the stock one that is on it is only 1.9 gals. Only 5 hours on new crank, rod, piston, bearings, seals, clutch basket, and clutch plates. The bike has the oversized front brake rotor and full FMF exhaust. Thu, 10 Apr 2014Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.

On tomorrow’s third and final day of the World Superbike championship test currently taking place at Jerez in Spain, regular riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea will hand over their Honda CBR1000RR SP racing machines to their respective young sons. Despite being less than a year old, Max Haslam and Jake Rea are deemed to have inherited sufficient quantities of the so-called ‘speed gene’ to warrant a full test on the sophisticated production race bikes.
