2003 Yamaha TW200, Two Owner, Low Miles, NO Reserve !! (2003)
This is a nice running and riding TW. New battery, runs great, doesn't burn oil, everything works, tires and chain & sprockets are fine. Check pictures. The bike is not like new, but is nice, and is not priced like new! ($4590 MSRP for the same bike, in blue! ) If you do not know TW's, please check Yamaha's website to view the 2014 model, identical to this bike, other than color. TW's will go anywhere, have electric start, very low seat height. This TW is stock, other than a little preload added to the fork springs and a one tooth larger front sprocket. The extra tooth makes the bike cruise 55 or 60MPH backroads much more comfortably than stock, but 1st gear will still idle along at walking speed. Top speed is an indicated 73ish, flat on the tank. ('Doesn't seem nice to do that to the little bike, though) Cosmetically, the sides of the tank are not real shinny, due to dirty pants contact. The decal, on the right side of the tank, has a couple of chips (zoom the picture to see). The tank has no dents, though. The other plastic, and the engine cases do show some scuffs and normal wear, with no tears or breaks. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
