Honda CRF description

Let¿¿¿s Take It Up A Notch. The CRF150F is a bona-fide blast on two wheels. And it¿¿¿s one of the easiest bikes you¿¿¿ll ever ride, thanks to an electric push-button starter that gets up and running in no time. A four-stroke engine that delivers smooth, predictable performance. Pro-Link¿¿ rear suspension for maximum control over whoops and through turns. And a bulletproof five-speed transmission. Of course, the CRF150F also delivers the legendary reliability and low maintenance that naturally comes with the Honda name. So if you¿¿¿re ready to take it up a notch on the trails, then hop on a CRF150F.

The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
