2014 Honda CRF 250L, 2014 HONDA CRF250L!!!2014 Honda CRF250LMeet your next favorite bike. For those in search of a dual-sport that delivers both function and all-around fun, the CRF250L stands apart from the rest. It has all the features you love in an off-roader, like the upright seating position. Long-travel suspension. Distinct styling cues. And when you take a bike like that out on the street, you re in for a good time. The CRF250L also delivers on the practical side. It s a fuel miser, getting an estimated 73 miles per gallon*. The user-friendly powerband is ideally suited to navigating city streets. And the low-end torque comes in handy on trails and in traffic. So if you want a bike that delivers the best of both worlds, look no further than the 2014 CRF250L. *Miles per gallon values are calculated estimates of fuel consumed during laboratory exhaust emissions tests specified by the EPA, not during on road riding. Use for comparison purposes only. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you ride and maintain your vehicle, weather, road conditions, tire pressure, cargo and accessories, rider and passenger weight, and other factors.Features:Packs a punch. At the heart of our CRF250L lies a fuel-injected single-cylinder engine, complete with an electric starter, counterbalance, and double-overhead cams. So you get smooth, consistent power packing loads of low- and mid-range torque.Comfort is key.Out on the trail, you want a bike that allows for upright seating, keeping you ready for whatever lies around the next bend. And you ll find those same qualities come in handy when riding in traffic. It s comfortable, neutral, and makes maneuverability a breeze.Pinches pennies.Great mileage may not be the number one reason for riding the CRF250L. But when you re getting up to 73 miles per gallon*, you re getting more than an added bonus. That s because great economy is always welcome, whether you re commuting or riding around on weekends.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
2011 Vyrus Moto2 Grand Prix Racer Preview
Fri, 14 Jan 2011Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.
Honda’s View of the Motorcycle Industry in Canada
Fri, 13 Aug 2010Recently here on Motorcycle.com, we’ve been bringing you reviews of a handful of Honda scoots that are available to our neighbors (or is that neighbours?) to the North in Canada, yet remain forbidden fruit for American consumers. Reviewer Costa Mouzouris gave us a look at the naked CB1000R that Honda Canada is considering importing, the already-available half-faired CBF1000, and the entry-level CBR125R. Meanwhile, Honda’s competitors have also announced some new products for Canada that have yet to be made available in the U.S.
