Honda CRF description

Brand new red 2013 Honda CRF450R No Handling, Prep, or Setup fees..... GREAT prices and even better service!!! Other colors and models are available; please call or email for more information. Everyone is going to remember 2013 as the year Honda took the 450 class and blew it WIDE open with the totally redesigned CRF450R.Huge changes are going to jump out at you. First is the CRF450R s all-new air-fork front suspension. Nearly two pounds lighter than a coil-spring fork, it offers easier adjustment, less internal friction, and even better handling. Next, an all-new twin-spar aluminum frame. You ll see some big changes in the steering-head area. That s because the frame is designed specifically to work with the new fork.Check out the CRF450R s short radical new twin exhaust. The system moves the mufflers in way closer to the bike s center of mass. They re super short and compact, and work in perfect concert with the 2013 model s new bodywork to make this the most flickable CRF450R ever!In fact, everywhere you look you re going to see upgrades this year: The engine gets a new piston shape, porting, and valve timing, along with more compression for more power. The radiators are smaller and flow more air. The clutch is totally redesigned with six springs for better feel at the lever. Even the footpegs and tires get the Honda touch.Without a doubt, the 2013 CRF450R is the most dialed-in bike and still the lightest weight in its class. Do your part, and you re going to be a permanent fixture on the podium with this one.Air Fork = The Future: The CRF450R s new 48mm inverted KYB PSF (Pneumatic Spring Fork) air fork is a cannon shot in the suspension revolution. It s almost two pounds lighter than a conventional-spring fork, is super easy to tune (all you need is an air pump no special tool needed) and totally eliminates internal spring-to-forkleg friction.Twice As Good: Why go to a twin-muffler setup on the new CRF450R? The mufflers are way shorter, lower and tucked in much closer to the bike s center of mass. That helps make the CRF450R even easier to whip and scrub, and also contributes to the bikes improved power, while keeping it quiet at 94db.The Next Generation Of Best: An all-new twin-spar aluminum chassis was designed specifically to work with the CRF450R s new air fork. The twin spars are lower to improve handling and to lower CG. The result? A perfect match of suspension action, steering feedback, and chassis stiffness and compliance.

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
