Honda CRF description

2012 Honda Crf450 X, Just how good is the CRF450X? Here s a hint: it's won more races in Baja than all other recent 450-class machines combined. But this bike is merely a sum of its parts intelligently-engineered parts taken from its MX-winning cousin and specially tuned for the trail. Like the Honda Progressive Steering Damper that helps reduce rider fatigue and improve cornering. An electric starter for easy start-ups in even the worst conditions. A Pro-Link suspension, bulletproof Unicam engine and the kind of durability Honda is known for. Put it all together and you ve got perhaps the best off-roader ever built.

Fri, 30 Jul 2010

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.

Honda VFR1200F Launch: Tokyo (no) Show

Wed, 21 Oct 2009

IF YOU'VE never been to the Tokyo show before, let me tell you this: you’re missing nowt.‘You picked a bad year to come,’ said the Yamaha designer and he was spot on. Three halls of mainly Japanese car manufacturers and lots of empty spaces wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. Maybe my expectations were too great, maybe I should have been expecting my glass to be half empty?

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.
