Honda CRF description
2011 Honda CRF 250R, 2011 CRF250RQuieter. Faster. Better than ever. Are you a winner? Do you want to ride like one? Then you better get yourself on a 2011 CRF250R. We ve given our quarter-liter wonder some serious upgrades for 2011 and it likes to win. Because there s a new 94 dB exhaust rule this year, we gave the CRF250R a new muffler. But we also gave it a new ECU settings which, combined with the exhaust, gives you more usable power, especially in the midrange. It s a win-win situation: A quieter bike and one that s even easier to ride. Like the CFR450R, we also gave the CRF250R a new Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) with a new, bigger 24 mm piston. That gives you more damping when you need it, but still remains as transparent as ever when you don t. Better handling, better balance, better tracking, especially at the limits of performance: the new 2011 CRF250R has it all.

And it's goodbye from him
Tue, 17 Aug 2010THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
